LIQUID PENETRANT

Liquid Dye Penetrant (PT) inspections are excellent options for high volume inspection needs. Examinations can be used in a variety of applications to detect surface discontinuities and are extremely versatile to accommodate a wide range of surface conditions and part configurations. MAGNETIC PARTICLE

Magnetic particle testing (MT) detects surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic parts (susceptible to magnetization) such as carbon steel, iron, nickel, and some of their alloys. The process involves inducing a magnetic field on a component, and dry or wet magnetic particles are applied. At an area where there is a flux leakage (or interruption of the magnetic field), the particles visibly gather, and we evaluate them to applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.

RADIOGRAPHIC TESTING

Radiographic Testing uses x-rays or gamma radiography to perform full volumetric inspection to validate the integrity of welds and other components. This is one of the most widely used non-destructive methods.

ULTRASONIC TESTING

Ultrasonic testing is a widely used non-destructive testing method that may be used for dimensional measurements, thickness, material characterization, flaw detection and more.

Dynamic Non-Destructive Testing Inc. offers NDT ultrasonic testing (UT) to detect flaws, take dimensional measurements, and to do material characterization. UT is recognized for having the highest depth of penetration to detect subsurface flaws. Our sophisticated ultrasonic testing equipment is highly accurate in determining flaw position and estimating size and shape. In most cases, it is only necessary to have one-side access and our technicians can evaluate with immediate results. In addition to UT, Dynamic Non-Destructive Testing Inc. offers ultrasonic thickness testing and phased array testing which are more specialized types of ultrasonic NDT testing.

EDDY CURRENT TESTING

Dynamic Non-Destructive Testing Inc. offers Eddy Current Testing for crack detection, material or coating thickness, and conductivity measurements. Our inspections are capable of revealing small cracks and defects at or near the surface with the ability to provide immediate results. Dynamic Non-Destructive Testing Inc. can inspect complex shapes and sizes of conductive materials at the location due to the portability of our eddy current testing equipment.

VISUAL TESTING

Direct

NDT Visual Testing for a wide variety of materials and product types. Our highly skilled examiners are thoroughly trained in advance techniques to determine and interpret visible surface imperfections. In addition to visual inspections, we can use computer-controlled imaging systems for measuring or inspecting components.

Visual testing offers a vast range of options to evaluate proper systems or product quality utilizing effective techniques for the detection of surface flaws and discontinuities. Our quantified results are achieved with the use of advanced tools such as templates, displacement, and depth gauges.

LEAK TESTING

Leak Testing is a form of NDT that uses either a pressurized or evacuated system to detect the location of leak and possibly measure the leakage through the leak. Leak Testing when compared to other methods, has a higher degree of sensitivity to locate the leak or measure leakage.
